My favorite true TV is a court trial that shows Lady Justice at work. My second is the Inauguration Day events. There are more prayer breakfast, brunches, lunches, dinners than I want to count. It's a little too much to believe they couldn't come up with big meal like the Indians/Settlers did called Thanksgiving. But then all of the photo ops would be lost. I watch to see the people, who gets to sit or stand,what they will be wearing especially at the balls tonight.The TV media anchors and pundits are repeating themselves and don't even know it. Patting themselves on the back,they are an obvious group.Trying to make us believe the are informing us of something they know when the info is getting fed to them via an earpiece. Now, so far in the "good" seats you have Steven Speilberg, Dustin Hoffman, Muhammed Ali, Jerry Brown(still a nut),Magic Johnson, just a few in the "good seats". The media is calling this area the V.I.P. area. I understand these make enormous donations to the campaign, so I just can't help but believe you buy your seat if you aren't a member of the Supreme Court, Senate, former President or a family member. If you are a hard right winger,don't watch, it will upset you. Right wingers this is not approved for you. They should put a warning on the coverage.
The most moving/touching part of the day for me is when the then former President gets on Marine 1 from the Lawn,waves goodbye and goes home. Actually they go to a hangar where a plane will carry the former President and a plane filled with devoted staff members, friends, and family to the state they call home. Today flying to Texas.
I am going to sign off to watch the events of the day. I had a closing thought, why don't they give the men and women of the Armed Forces the V.I.P. seats? They give the ultimate. But as I said earlier in the post your healthy donation guarantees your V.I.P seating and the Armed Service men and women get paid less in this country than teachers.
