August Heat and TruTV's Repo Man

   Central Louisiana is setting records this summer. High temperature records set almost everyday of August. On some days we've had 100+ and it's smothering hot. Our weather person always gives the "feels like" temperature too. Speaking only for myself, I wouldn't know the different feeling 101 or 110. Thank goodness I haven't had to experience the outside heat for too long. I leave early in the morning if I need to buy cold items at the grocery store. Early shopping has another benefit, not anyone out I know that early shopping for grocery items! Put on a pair of capri denims, t-shirt and out the door. I arrive home and unpack with plenty of time to spare before I turn on GMA for morning news brief. While the thermometer gage is setting records I'm still thinking forward concerning the weather. Remember, it's hurricane season and we haven't had too much of a hurricane scare, yet. Several months ahead, so keep your eyes on activity in the Gulf. Activity in the weather department and perseverance with the oil spill clean up. We must be diligent and make sure BP is held accountable for the oil spill and clean up. The wildlife&fisheries department will keep the public posted on the time frame of clean up progress. Hoping progress is the correct term for what's going on in the Gulf. I'm going to factor in the mid-term elections as a benefit for the Gulf cleanup. No one is going to get elected to any office if they haven't been vocal concerning the status of the Gulf and BP's responsibility to the area. Keep vigil for the coast, it's our duty as residents the Gulf states.
  While the heat has made me lazy and all of the days blurred I'm passing time watching reality work television. TruTV, A&E, and TLC shows that spotlight the meter reader,  the "server" of legal papers, tow truck repo man. I want to know if the people on the other end of the legal system must agree to be taped? A restaurant was getting ready to have a "grand opening" when the owners were served with repossession papers for all the restaurant equipment. I'm pretty sure the restaurant supply will not be getting much of the inventory returned, they were throwing everything from the plates to commercial coffee pots. I suspect a "grand opening" did not take place. The actions of the owners pretty much confirmed my thoughts they probably weren't sending out formal invitations. No one would waste $$$ on postage for an event that wasn't going to happen. At this point, another thought, I also feel the restaurant owners were having a great time up until the time the papers were served. Next episode a man hired to serve divorce papers finds out the "person served" was told the man serving papers was the reason for the divorce paper surprise. The server was prepared. Considering this field of work, a person should be ready for any situation. The server said it not a great job, but has great pay. Fingers crossed "Billy the Exterminator" will wind the evening down with the capture of an 8 foot alligator . What else can a girl hope for? I'm not talking Einstein, just television on a lazy, hot day.
