Is this the catch phrase of the year? The sky is falling and apparently so is the NASDAQ, DOW, and all other financial woes I don't understand. I DO understand,if you don't need it, don't spend the money.Use cash..it's just a good practice to implement early on in the $$ trade. I suspect cash will be the "pink". For my readers that weren't born or are too young to remember the South suffered the fall of the oil and gas industry in the late '70's and it never did completely rebound. Add on a few years later the petrochemical slowdown. Of course there was no government bailout. I am not reading 800+ pages of a stimulus bill, but we will be okay,won't we? Remember to keep your sense of humor if you choose to listen to the talking political heads. You must have a sense of humor, I don't think they do.
So work hard and play hard. Board game playing is on the upswing, house entertaining with a card game or board game..back in the picture. Good times playing cards, dominoes, connect four, all the variations of Uno. Remember it can get competitive and that's fun. I think I'll take up player poker, next year I will be in the poker tournament at the Horseshoe!
