Reflecting on the long days of September has me looking forward to October. Summer months are my favorite and September doesn't fall in the "summer month" category. Usually we take a week in September to vacation, delay end of summer, relax and have fun. Schedules didn't allow a full week away this year. Next September maybe we'll take 2 weeks for an extended vacation. I wouldn't bet on that statement, but who knows?
Looking forward to fall food menu changes. Gumbo several times a week, add a deep dish pecan pie and I'm set. This really works for me as Chuck usually makes the gumbo and I purchase the pie from a local bakery. Easing into the fall months with a smile. teresa
